“So…” Peter said. “Want to make a bet?”
“No,” Chris said immediately just as Stiles said yes.
Peter laughed, head thrown back. He looked good, Chris was man enough to admit that, anyone with eyes could see it.
“Hear me out first,” he said, and Chris knew. He knew very well that they shouldn’t. Nothing good ever came out of listening to Peter Hale talk, but by then it was too late to stop him. “In fact, you hear me out, Stiles, you seem to be the reasonable one.”
