Then, he stands up, stomping ticklishly all over Yuuji’s chest, before curling back up and closing his eyes. His fur sticks straight up like the sea urchins in the fish market. He’s adorable.

    Careful not to incur his wrath again, Yuuji lifts a hand and strokes down the cat’s back, petting him gently. The cat purrs and tries to burrow deeper into Yuuji’s sleep-warm skin, unbothered by the morning light.
