He doesn't need anything else. On the first day of the new school year, the instructor meets the new science teacher Crowley, and something about him is very strange, if not eerily familiar. The two strike up a quick friendship, despite their starkly different approaches to teaching, and something a bit more might be striking up between them as well.

Summary
Fifteen years have passed since Aziraphale returned to Heaven, and still sometimes Crowley feels shell shocked and embarrassed and grief-stricken. And mostly, he still feels numb. Fifteen years isn’t really so long, in the grand scheme of things, and yet these have somehow been the longest years of his existence. He can almost feel time crawling by, laughing at him.
But slowly, so slowly, Crowley began to try again. To try harder. To find a piece of himself that Aziraphale had not touched. To find a piece of himself that does not need changing.
On his good days, he can open up. His friends come over to the flat, once in a while, and Maggie brings new records and Muriel brings burnt cookies that no-one complains about because they're so proud of them. They'll exchange stories and simply enjoy each other's company for a few hours.
And sometimes, he feels almost alright.
Until Crowley turns around and Aziraphale is there, standing in front of him, trying to stop the world from ending all over again.

No words are forming in your throat. He takes your hand that drips with blood and brings it to his lips, placing the two cut fingers into his mouth and gently sucking. Those golden eyes stare into you like he has known you all your life, as though he can read you like an open book. You are frozen stiff, unsure of what to do.
He releases your fingers from his mouth, his tongue and sharpened canines dragging along the tender flesh. You take your hand back, holding it tightly around the wrist, looking over the wound. There is nothing, only a slash of pink skin to suggest anything was there to begin with. Before you can thank him, he gently spins you around and merely says, “let’s get you home, then.”

After the events at Ezo, the two were orphaned from their families legacies. With Iba Hachiro pronounced dead and Chizuru being the only survivor of her clan, the two made a promise at the exchange of their nuptial cup.
A promise that legacies and ties to family histories shouldn’t dictate their choices. Thus, she married into his family name; cutting her ties to the inheritance of the Yukimura clan.
