Summary
I stare in the mirror for at least fifteen minutes, any time not doing that spent pacing back and forth deliberating whether my father's wrath is better than attending this party. On one end of the scale, Father's reputation lays on the line—if I don't come it'll be a clear sign of disrespect, especially since Father is the leader of our house and I'm the main heir to continue his legacy. Anything less than perfection is me condemning that legacy to a guillotine. On the other end of the scale, I have to spend a torturous night forcing myself to flirt with female omegas that aren't even that appealing anyways. They're so touchy, drunk, and have no sense of personal space but Father doesn't bat an eye if it's in the name of his legacy. He just doesn't want me to marry an alpha or beta—god knows how he reacted when Lyla presented.

Summary
To test my hypothesis I run my hand through his hair again—his head submitting to my touch, being drawn away from the conceilment of my hand—and tugging his hair lightly. The result yields another soft groan and slight resistance to my grip. I allow him to have a chance to speak up—withdrawing my hand raising my eyebrows expectantly—but instead of pulling back and leaving, he rests his head back in my lap obediently, eyes softly shut.
"Oh, Frankie, if you wanted me to do this you should've said something earlier," I tease, resting my hand on his head, twirling hairs around my finger and tugging back. I earn a huff against my thigh, so I tug harder.
"Sorry, sorry," he whines, but he looks up with eyes that screams "do it again," so I yank his head back and caress a palm down the side of his face. Goosebumps form on his arms as the hand trails down to his chest, scrunching the fabric beneath my fingers.

A hand sticks up like a zombie crawling out of it's grave, and he pulls himself up. Xavier's flowy hair is sticking to his forehead in wet little curls, his vest on the floor, sleeves rolled up, and undershirt unbuttoned to his surprisingly semi-defined abs. Two little scars on his chest peek out at me from behind his shirt. "H-Huh?" He blinks slowly at me. "O-Oh, Frankie—"

I ask, but I'm already walking to the couch, arms crossed and nose twitching to try and detect any unusual fragrances or scents. He covers his chest with his arms and shirt, mumbling something I can't hear. "What was that?"
"I need to—" More inaudible words come out of his mouth.
"Wha—?"
"I need to be bred, gosh darn it!!!"
