Summary
When Arthur was young, he remembered asking his father about the golden thread on his finger and seeing Uther pale before going red. In a stern voice, his father told him that that meant a magic user had stolen his soulmate from him, either bewitching them or outright taking the thread from his original mate. It was a way for them to get to the crown and it meant that he needed to avenge his soulmate. The day he met the person that the thread was connected to now, he would have to kill them. Arthur’s eyes welled with tears that Uther scolded him for as he realized that he didn’t have a soulmate and he never truly would. He grew to hate his thread, knowing that it connected him to a murderer and he threw himself into training so that he could fulfill the task his father gave him and avenge his soulmate that never would be.
That lasted for a while, but it couldn't outlast Morgana.
A soulmate thread of fate AU where magic users get gold threads and Morgana as such learned about magic from her father so that she was knowledgeable and protected. Uther is Uther, Morgana can't stand that, but she has support and so does Arthur.

Summary
Some people can see their soulmate threads, Lucy has always been able to, one connecting to Norrie, two others headed off down South, towards London. When Norrie is ghost-locked, the thread goes gray and Lucy leaves when it starts looking frail and fragile as Norrie. When she gets to London, soulmates are the last thing on her mind and she doesn’t want to open up again, especially since there is a black strand for Norrie woven around her finger, connected to nothing.

Summary
The first time it happens, most people don’t think much of it. Connor and Hank are back from New York and Connor extends a hand to interface with Nines as is their typical habit, but Nines flinches back from the hand like it’s scalding. He quickly apologizes and reaches out himself, but Connor doesn’t miss the slight, nearly nonexistent shake of his hand and Gavin, watching from his desk, doesn’t miss the tension hidden between Nines’ eyes.
Neither of them miss the fact that Nines interfaces less after that.
Set after the events of Detroit: Evolution, before Detroit: Reawakening. This is a short exploration of what might happen after your head is violated via forced interface and memory probe.

Summary
A glimpse in the road to healing after Patton's months of captivity and Virgil's three days of dying again and again, plus discorporation and being stuck in a house with Malice and Deceit for so long. Just a bit of seeing them become a family and some healing that I wanted to see for them.
A gift vignette for 'finding the light hidden in darkness' by quantumducky, it was a lovely story and I highly recommend reading that first.

Summary
Worst of all are his eyes, angled down, but still filled with a bitter, helpless exhaustion. His posture is subdued, alarmingly still, and he's alone in the hallway, despite the pack all being there.
It fills her with this burning rage on his behalf, because honestly? He looks too tired to even carry on, let alone find even a vague sense of annoyance over how easily he is dismissed.
She knows that Scott goes to him for everything, that Derek is forever having Stiles search for some obscure piece of information that leads to a riddle that leads to a puzzle that leads to a mystery, which leads to the next misadventure that will all be solved by Stiles. They all expect him to have the answer, to be there, no matter what unholy hour it was or how dangerous it could be, how hurt he would become, because they forget, she thinks, that Stiles is human. He may be the poster child of Energizer, but he's not like them. It's actually a mark against them, because Stiles' humanity and weakness makes him stronger than them because of how much he is willing to take, but the fact that they continually abuse his willingness to hurt himself for them says nothing good on their behalf.
And Lydia had had enough.
