“Leaving already?” Leon hadn't realized he was fiddling with his jacket, which he threw over the chair when he first got here. The room suddenly felt strangely suffocating despite the warmth Luis had added to the otherwise bland space.
“It's getting late, I don't want to keep you up.” The excuse was lame at best; he had practically spent weeks in this room without issue. What had changed?
“I don't mind staying up, if it's with you.” Luis said with a wink and Leon had to fight to keep the impulsive smile from crawling onto his face.
That's what changed.
The jokes felt less and less like jokes, and with that came a deep-seated anxiety at the fact that he enjoyed it and found comfort in the idea of being wanted. Something he couldn't (wouldn't) allow himself, but Luis made it so difficult to remember that in the moment.
“Goodnight, Luis.”
“Night, Leon.”
After surviving the knife wound that should have been fatal, Luis struggles to find his place and purpose in a world he no longer thought he would be apart of and Leon still can't grasp the fact that Luis is here. In his life, his apartment and in his head.

He knows what Chick is capable of now, and so he takes it upon himself to protect the new Dinoco rookie from him. However, he quickly discovers that good intentions can often lead to serious consequences. Doc warned him not to be reckless, but young adults always think they know better than their elders, and Lightning is no exception. Old habits die hard, right? And why can't he have a Wii in his motorhome? It’s not like Doc’s ever going to play it. Right?

No redemption had been found and no soul made it to heaven, things just didn't go to plan. Through struggle and hardship, Angel Dust and Husk try to deal with living this new life the best they can. Through unexpected bumps, and depression, anxiety, and overall dread of succumbing to the weight of their lives, they work to get through it. But one particular bump may prove to be too much to deal with as the past comes to haunt the two struggling demons. Even if they have each other in their hearts.
