This was, arguably, the first.Or: The Second Generation are chaotic bastards. Except for Ares and Hephaestus. They're just chaotic. The Second Generation are also very good at enabling each other's first impulses. The constant running commentary and chaotic whims of the peanut gallery will surely have no effect on sweet young Percy Jackson. No effect. None whatsoever.

Summary

As Olympus prepares to officially reopen at the Winter Solstice, Hermes takes notice that something is off with the Savior of Olympus. But when he asked for help from Hades, none of them could imagine what Percy’s trip to the Pit led to and what it will mean for the hero.
Or Percy finally reckons with the consequences of challenging Akhlys with a little help from his immortal family, who he might be around for a lot longer than he thought.
