Summary
Nico had survived a lot, in fact he could even say he had lived more life than most kids his age. He had been to tartarus and survived. If someone took a look at his life from the outside, they might say that a few summer themed games were nothing to balk at. They would be horrible wrong.
Chiron knew that each camper was dealing with the tragedy they had faced in different, and often unhealthy, ways. He had lost so many children who he considered his own so he felt he owed those who were left a chance to move forward and heal. That was how in the middle of June the idea of The Summer Games became a reality during a counselor meeting. It really was a simple idea that did not take much thought to come to fruition. Each of the cabins would be put into pairs and have to work together to win a series of challenges over the course of the summer.
