Summary
The door to Sheng Shaoyou's office slammed open hard enough that the handle left a dent in the wall.
Gao Tu didn't care. He was past caring about property damage or professional courtesy or any of the thousand little rules that governed interactions between people like him and people like Sheng Shaoyou. His suppressants were holding, his scent blockers were in place, and his anger was a living thing clawing its way up his throat.
Shaoyou looked up from his desk, and for a fraction of a second, surprise flickered across his face. Then it was gone, replaced by that infuriating mask of cool control that made Gao Tu want to break something.
"Gao Tu." Shaoyou's voice was level, almost bored. "I don't recall scheduling a meeting with HS Group today."
"Cut the shit." Gao Tu crossed the office in quick strides, his hands clenched into fists at his sides. "You know exactly why I'm here."
