What the title says. About 11 years ago (from my perspective; relativity is weird) I was launched into space onboard the Hail Mary to figure out a solution to the Astrophage problem. Now I live on an alien planet I call Erid, in the 40-Eridani system. Yes, I’m actually Ryland Grace. Ask me anything.
Also, can someone please tell me if Eva Stratt is alive? And ideally send me a video of you punching her in the face? Guess that’s a long shot, but it can’t hurt to ask.

Ryland gripped the wall. “What do—what do we do? What are we supposed to be doing?” His voice didn’t quite teeter into panic, but it was a very near ‘almost’. His voice cracked slightly in the middle.
“Not much,” Ilyukhina told him, smiling, but her eyes were sweeping him up and down. “Nothing to do. Hold onto something and get ready for a ride.”
“I don’t think I got training,” Ryland warbled, realizing.

Somehow Green could salvage this. At that point, it wasn't even for the sake of having another peon to help them out on the ship. It was for the sake of getting to curse them out after the meeting.
"W-What if we didn't kill them. What if we just… trapped them in a cage for a bit! That way we could get them back to MIRA, and they wouldn't be able to kill anyone else on the way there, and then MIRA could figure out what to do with them?"

Green doesn't want Orange to die, even after they obviously killed Lime, so they devise plan after plan to keep them from leaving into the airlock. But they start to regret it, finding out not long after Orange is insane. Very... very insane. Can be read as either platonic or romantic.

Never in all of Maxwell’s long years had he ever been so relieved to see one man. He stepped out of the treeline. A shout could not be held back: “Wilson!”
Wilson turned—bringing reality crashing down upon Maxwell. It was fear that flashed across his face. Instinctive, flinching, and genuine. The boogeyman had come out of the shadows with his long, shadow-stained hands and pointed teeth made for cutting smiles.
Then proper recognition set in, proving just how cruel fate’s humor was. Anger overtook Wilson’s features. Features that were familiar to Maxwell as his own, and features that he was forced to watch calcify with hatred.
The love of his life picked up his axe and wielded it with intent. “You’re dead!”

Everytime the survivors die out, a new iteration begins. Maxwell is the only one who remembers the last one.
