“Sam,” Colby’s voice is thick with uncertainty, a warning, his big blue eyes boring into Sam’s like a guilty puppy. Sam reclaims his earlier smirk, but it doesn’t frame his face with playful youthfulness, instead it has a darker edge to it.
“Relax,” he drawls, and he slides a bit further down the bed, hips shifting, feeling Colby’s weight more solidly against him, “we’re not actually brothers, Colby.” His hand trails higher, brushing underneath Colby’s shirt.
