Summary
"Thank you," Dami replies as a self conscious hand goes to the round of her belly. It's… an atypical situation to be sure. Running into her former wife, who had previously believed her to be a man and once expressed ardently her wish to bear her - his - children, whilst heavily pregnant with another man's child herself. (Or children, but Dami was terrified enough about the prospect of one baby, she couldn't yet face the fact that there was a strong probability she was carrying two).

“You two act like young parents with their first child,” Granny said after Lan Wangji ended up with Wen Yuan sleeping against his chest once again. “Not wanting to let him go or hear him cry.”
“Aw, but Granny, don’t we make a cute couple with our little one?” Wei Ying teased, tipping to the side to lay his head on Lan Wangji’s unoccupied shoulder.
Granny reached over and pinched Wei Ying’s cheek while Lan Wangji tried to pretend his heart wasn’t suddenly trying to pound out of his chest at how close Wei Ying was.
