Summary
Valarr gave him a grave look. “Kepa misses you.” He said, plain. “It has been three years, he was hoping—”
“I care not a whit for his hopes,” Maekar snapped. “Have you so easily fallen under his spell and forgotten what he did?”
Baelor lives. It does not make things easier.

Summary
Eighteen years ago, Snare was a shining star, the biggest up-and-coming rock band to emerge out of Sunspear. That was eighteen years ago. Back then, Baelor was the other half of his soul, and Aerys and Rhaegel were his arms and his legs. But that had not been true for years. Maekar could have counted on his ten fingers how many times he’d seen Baelor since their band broke up.
Or the one where Maekar travels to Tyrosh for his nephew’s wedding. While there, he learns that some doors never shut fully, despite how hard he kicked them closed.

Summary
“Recoveries are long and troublesome. Months. You won’t be able to play pickleball with Aegon for a long time.”
“I already can’t play pickleball with him, or squash with Aerion, or tennis with Matarys. This is the problem. These are the problems.” Maekar gestured angrily at his own chest. “They go everywhere.”
Baelor knew this. Baelor appreciated them going everywhere—immensely.
Or: The one where Maekar has anime jiggle physics.

Summary
"What?" Maekar's eyes snapped open, shock overriding his warrior's instincts.
Before he could stand, Baelor caught his left wrist, pulling it to the opposite post. "Forgive me, brother," Baelor breathed, his voice thick with regret. He looped the second rope, hauling it tight until it held Maekar fast against the heavy oak, and knotted it with a swift, ruthless efficiency.
Maekar strained forward against the bindings, the muscles in his chest and arms corded and flexing, his face flushed with a dark, furious red. The thick rope bit fiercely into the bare skin of his wrists. He roared and bucked his hips upward. The massive oak four-poster groaned heavily in protest beneath his sudden, violent thrashing, but the wood held, and the ropes did not give an inch.
Instead of siding with Ser Duncan, Baelor chooses more... unconventional methods.
