Izuku Midoriya was unlucky enough to be born a man in a world that valued power and told him that because of the way he was born he had none. Beat it into him, in fact. Despite that he still wanted to become a hero.
When finally pushed to the edge, he is put on a new path. If the world says he's weak and won't let him prove a man can be a hero, they shouldn't have to fear him as a villain. And he will save those like him, that society left behind.

This has left very few men existing in mainstream society.
So when Inko and Hisashi Midoriya give birth to a boy, they decide they're going to do everything they can to keep his confidence alive and encourage him to strive for his goals, even if they're to become a hero. He'll make it into UA and go on to show the world that anyone can be a hero, all while gaining the attention of many women.Series

When Hisami's quirk, All For One, comes in, she devises a plan. She engineers the birth of a male, heralding the arrival of 'Izuku', and passes on her quirk to him. She couldn't think of a more perfect world to bless unto her son.
