Jungkook pouted. “But then who will pay attention to me?”
Yoongi sighed. It really was all about getting attention with him. He should have known. All of Jungkook’s scandals were related to sex and dating. He couldn’t keep it in his pants for more than a day and he never cared to be discreet. At least not since Yoongi had started working for him. If he could just get Jungkook to stop fucking random people for a few weeks, he could repair all the damage he’d done with his interview. He just needed someone who wouldn’t mind fucking Jungkook and dealing with his ego. Someone who could give Jungkook the attention he needed so badly without it ending up on the front page of every tabloid in Korea. If he could just find someone like that, he could— Yoongi paused, his eyes flicking back to Jungkook, noting the way the younger man stared at him, his eyes fixed on his face and not moving.
Suddenly, Yoongi had a plan.

Yoonji resists the urge to bury her hands in her hair and pull, a small frustrated groan still slipping past her lips as she holds her flushed face between her palms. It was getting ridiculous.
Namjoo hadn’t even said anything too bad, this time - she’d just leaned over the table, so close to Yoonji’s face they could have bumped foreheads, and fixed her bangs with a delicate brush of her slender fingers. She’d pulled back before Yoonji could react, a dimpled smile on her face.
For one horrible moment, she'd thought Namjoo would curl the strand behind her ear. She’d been bracing for it, even, but Namjoo had limited herself to just pulling her hair out of her eyes as Yoonji was busy cutting the meat that Soojin had set out for all of them.“Thank you,” she’d managed to croak out, and Namjoo had replied with a bright and cheery “No problem, unnie,” and Yoonji had been almost bowled right over by how much she wanted to just grab Namjoo’s lovely face and -
Anyway. It’s been a difficult month.
(Namjoo spends four weeks in the countryside during the summer and comes back with a tan, more muscles, and apparently, lot more confidence. Yoonji tries and fails to adjust.)

Yoongi doesn’t really expect anything special when he finds an old music box in his grandmother’s attic and she tells him to keep it. Oh sure, he expects the music box to be a pretty decoration to add to the stale interior of his small apartment. He expects it to play a tune and he might even dare to expect the barely-functioning little ballerina to dance along to the soft chimes, but that's it, really.
The last thing he expects is for the little ballerina to take human form at night and throw his life out of balance with radiant smiles, soft giggles, and a heart-wrenching story.
