"On Copper-9, no one will hear you scream."
One of many Weyland-Yutani sovereign exoplanets, Copper 9 has been dormant for decades as all communications with the rest of the human civilization has been unattainable. In cruel irony, the planets' own benefactors had deployed combat units, dubbed by the survivors, "Murder Drones". The looming threat of death from uncaring synthetics alongside the other horrors that call Copper-9 home have turned life on the surface a near impossibility.
Many have chosen to take refuge in the scattered mining bunkers, choosing to make do with whatever technology and leftovers from Wayland that they've taken for themselves. For one individual, however, survival was not enough. Uzi Doorman, daughter of an engineering prodigy, aims to forge a path for herself, alongside her trusty homemade railgun. To break the chains that keeps her people afraid and hidden, she sets out into the frozen wastes of Copper-9. Will she blaze a path for herself, or will she be consumed by the horrors buried beneath the frozen caverns of this dead world. An Alternative Universe using the characters, themes, ideas and locations from "Murder Drones" set within the expanded "Alien" universe.

Summary
Looking back, Uzi would be able to pinpoint the exact moment that the weird, tentative friendship she’d somehow fallen into with N turned into a crush. Four words. Her downfall came on the back of four damn words.
“I like your railgun,” N said with that tiny smile of his.
(or, N is a Copper-9 drone who arrives at Outpost 3 after his outpost is destroyed by murder drones, and Uzi makes a new friend)

Summary
"After months of constant fear and wanton slaughter from above, the residents of Outpost 3 came to a difficult, grim decision. Everyone over the age of eighteen was assigned a number, and they instituted a lottery. The worker whose number had been drawn was to be sent out to the ferrovores’ lair as an offering, like a metal and silicone sacrificial lamb. The hope had been this practice would placate and pacify the creatures plaguing the bunker, and minimize the death the ferrovores brought down by way of curbing their bloodlust before it grew to proportions only sated by a massacre, as it had so often done. The brutal thing is that it had worked. There hadn’t been a killing spree in years, and all it cost was a single life every time the lunar phases reached their darkest."

Summary
When the disassembly drones arrived, many lost their families and loved ones. To protect the worker's kind, Khan - the colony leader - and a small committee of drones implanted a special chip on the motherboard of every pill baby born inside the bunker, and every year a generation of those drones turns 19, their chip comes with an analysis of their whole personality data and finds a perfect match for that drone. Making a new couple to have offspring and keep the worker's numbers going to balance the deceased.
Now, after two of the murder machines and a cool, angsty teen worker saved the galaxy, there's no need for the matching to continue! Or so Uzi thought. It turns out that everyone in the bunker considers it a tradition.
Too bad for her, she has only one option.
