   Summary

   When the pain got bad, Tim curled up and waited for it to end. When the panic hit, Jason’s hand landed on his back to remind him he was still there. When the anger reared its head, Jason responded calmly to fizzle it back out.

   “Hey. You’re okay. You’re right here.” Words of reassurance were common now. He wasn’t sure how to feel about it.

   Tim didn’t answer. He never did. He couldn’t. He didn’t trust his voice not to break.
