The various cogs of Bruce’s mind were, much like his internal clock, in dire need of winding. They grinded, slowly. “I am … well aware of the date, chum,” he eventually arrived at.
Jason raised an eyebrow at him. “Oh, you’re so not. Or, maybe you’re just covering because you forgot to get me something.”
Or, Bruce is struggling on the anniversary of his parents' deaths. But, that's not the only anniversary today.

There was a pair of sneakers in front of his face, and he twisted around to see who they were attached to. Jason was there, frowning down at him. That was funny; normally Bruce was taller than him. He smiled. He was so big. Or maybe Bruce was just lying on the floor. The street. The alleyway. It was important to be precise about these things. Keeping up precision of language made dealing with the wordplay so beloved by a certain criminal element much easier. Jason was there, and that was nice. Bruce smiled at him again. Maybe he hadn’t stopped. There was something wrong about seeing him here, but he couldn’t put his finger on it. Maybe he told him not to come. That was silly. Why wouldn’t he want Jason to come?
Or, Batman patrols Crime Alley on the anniversary of his parents' deaths and meeting Jason. He gets the wrong end of a mystery needle and ends up being saved by seemingly none other than Jason Todd.

Tim, hurt and angry, just wishes that Jon would be a proper monster and stop pretending to be his friend and that Tim had never gotten transferred to the archives. His wish is granted, at first seeming good, but it rapidly becomes clear that is not the case. This world is far worse. It shouldn't be like this. The Archivist, the Distortion, the terrified staff members, the white hats.
Set in mid season three, after "Nothing Beside Remains" (MAG 92) but before "We All Ignore The Pit" (MAG 97).

Summary
Fics for the No True Pair challenge on Dreamwidth. A list of characters was made before the prompts were revealed, pairing up the characters at random with fun prompts. I won't be doing every one for the month, but I plan to do a couple fun ones!

Summary
Bruce rescues a child during a sting on a shifter trafficking organization. But pretenses had to be kept and now the kid thinks Bruce is worse than scum. He's got his work cut out for him if he wants to change the kid's mind.
Aka, Bruce "buys" Jason during a sting and spends the next several weeks trying to convince him that he is safe in the home of his "buyer". Dick and Alfred help as best they can.
