    Summary

Dick has been seeing Jason since the day he died. In the shadows of alleyways, in the Batcave, sitting at the foot of his bed. Not always the same Jason—sometimes he's twelve with scraped knees, sometimes seventeen and furious, sometimes the man he never got to see him become. But when a new player in Gotham starts calling himself the Red Hood, something changes. Suddenly, the Jason in Dick's head starts saying things he shouldn't know. Starts looking older. More solid. More real.

Grief and guilt blur into obsession, and Dick starts to wonder if he's hallucinating a ghost—or being haunted by something worse.

Not bad. Very fanon. Too much Tim for my tastes, especially when I thought it was Dick and Jason centric. However, pretty well done. Well plotted, solid pacing, beautiful references to the musical. But I love the way Dick and Jason were written. Even if I dislike the portrayal of Robin Jason as angry. And the ending was lovely. All in all, very, very sweet. I liked it, in the end.

    Summary

There is a scar running down his face, starting from the corner of his left eye down towards his mouth and then cutting across his chin. Bruce imagines it makes his rare smiles sharper, more menacing, always with a slight downward tilt.

His gaze stays on his eyes. God, those eyes. They anger him more than anything. How dare this man wear them. Right now, with no hint of green present, they are exactly like they had been all these years ago. A sky-born blue caged in a beautiful almond shape. They used to be so expressive… these eyes cried and laughed and screamed so loudly, one did not have to look anywhere else to gaze deep inside his son’s soul. They are exactly the same now.

Bruce forces himself to take a breath. “Hello Jason” he says and nods at him. Jason keeps looking at him as if trying to uncover a deep secret- no that is not true. He looks at him as if he has already found it and wishes he hadn't. He does not say anything.

Set throughout the months after the confrontation with the Joker. Bruce does not believe that this older, taller Jason is the son he lost. Everyone grieves differently, some people grieve forever.

    Summary

"You're losing it, Grayson," Dick muttered to himself as he changed out of the Nightwing suit in his Blüdhaven apartment. His hands shook as he pulled on civilian clothes. "Dead is dead."

But even as he said it, he caught a glimpse of red and yellow in his peripheral vision. When he turned, Jason was sitting on his windowsill, legs folded under him, looking exactly as he had at fifteen—messy black hair, defiant chin, that crooked smile that meant trouble.

(Or, the second Robin dies, and Nightwing starts seeing him everywhere)

So good. But don’t look at the writer’s other works, this seems to be written before they got got by the incest. Already read the other clean stuff. Still, this is one of my favourite pieces I’ve ever read about my favourite fictional brothers.

"Couldn't sleep either?" Dick asked, settling on the edge of the bed.

Jason shrugged, closing the worn copy of Pride and Prejudice in his hands. "Storm's too loud."

Dick noticed the small stack of Jane Austen novels on the nightstand. "I didn't know you were into classics."

"There's a lot you don't know about me," Jason said, but there was no bite to it. Just tired honesty.
