Carl shifts. "There's something we want your input on." For a split second he looks almost uncomfortable. Good, Grace thinks vindictively, but whatever joy he gets from seeing Carl briefly flustered disappears with the next words out of his once-friend's mouth. "It concerns the manner of death."
And suddenly Grace remembers all too clearly a time not too long ago, one of the most awkward and unpleasant moments of his life, sat down with Commander Yáo and Ilyukhina and DuBois, asking them how they would like to die.

Summary
Tucked and hidden away in the bottom of the personal storage container is a simple manila envelope with Grace's name on it. He certainly didn’t put this here, but he has a good guess of who probably did.
It’s just another reminder of home and all the mixed feelings that go with it; just another thing he’s not exactly sure how to handle right now.
Thankfully, he doesn’t have to do it alone.

The deaf spot of all Eridians is silent, open air. A piece of the crumbling biodome’s ceiling finally snaps from its connection point and plummets. It falls towards the abandoned shore, unapologetic to anyone who may already be down there.
Rocky can’t realize something’s quickly approaching them until it’s far too late.

Set hundreds of years after the end of the book, a case of wrong-place/wrong-time leads Rocky to a catch a glimpse of what and who might be waiting for them beyond.
