The thing is, Stiles would deal, but others might not. People found Lord Hale horrid, monstrous and unapproachable.
If Stiles stood behind him, no one would touch him.
He’d be safe with the wolf. If not from him, then definitely from everyone else. And that was enough.

Sure it was like Leorio said, if all Kurapika wanted was someone to spend the night with, there were certainly more convenient ways to find someone than taking two trains and a cab to the same apartment complex whenever he was feeling lonely.
But it wasn’t about convenience at all was it?
Kurapika makes up an excuse to see Leorio and Leorio doesn't have enough self control to turn him away.
