The introduction of the Super Tactical Droid, a pivotal moment for the Separatist movement. The shift to this new model brought greater success to their battlefields than its predecessor was capable of. This new model of tactical droid, however, left the original T-series model obsolete. As such, many have been disposed of.
FE-17 has not missed this in his calculations. In fact, it is a statistic he is increasingly aware of. It… frightens him.
It frightens him so much, it makes him wonder what his chances of survival were to be if he could successfully defect to the Republic.
The answer to that thought adds even more confusion to his circuits than his fear ever could alone.

When another creation goes wrong, one Autobot engineer no longer finds himself in the Ark in Oregon, but instead in the Halidom of Ylisse. Stranded in a world unknown to him, with powers and forces at play that he is completely unfamiliar with, he strikes a deal necessary for his survival with a group who is not nearly as dependent on him as he is on them.
Forced to adapt to the rapidly changing landscape of Ylisse, Wheeljack quickly works to find a way back to his own world. But when disaster comes looming, he must make a choice: abandon a people, leaving them to an uncertain fate, a choice that would break his Autobot oath; or stay and fight with them, give them a fighting chance, but risk dying alone as the sole Cybertronian, with no possibility of the other Autobots ever finding out what happened to him.
