Summary
Ryland Grace saved Earth. He saved Erid. He was supposed to die a hero somewhere between the stars.
Instead, he kept living.
As the years pass on Erid, Ryland finds himself caught in a strange kind of grace period: a life he was never meant to have, in a body and mind slowly losing the battle against time. “Yeah,” I sniffed, half-laughing through it. “Humans leak, ew.”
