Summary

Summary
Anyone who holds even the slightest awareness surrounding the notorious Airplane Shooting Towards the Sky knows one thing. He writes dogshit. Hoards potential like a dragon keeping gold and yet never delivers. A reputation that left many skeptical of his new MMORPG PIDW: Path of Eternal Flame. Anyone within the fandom that was there for something beyond the sex crossed their fingers praying to the heavens this would be different. Even if in their hearts they knew that was about as likely as hell freezing over.
Wait what's that? Hell is currently sitting at a temperature of 0 K? What do you mean the game was good? What do you mean THE Peerless Cucumber approved!?
Shen Yuan was pleasantly surprised when the game came out and he found a number of answers to his many many questions within the game. Between the main story, quests, and little tidbits hidden throughout the game so many plot holes ended up filled. He had never been a gamer but it was surprisingly fun. So much lore in a small 80 GB.
To bad he died before he could finish it. That's fine. Why play a game when you can live the game?

It’s so quiet in space. Lance thinks he might be going insane. He wonders, not for the first time, how Voltron is doing without him. He hears whispers of his old team, sometimes; fighting Haggar’s Robeasts all across the universe, never gaining any ground. He’s glad they’ve found a new pilot to replace him as the Red Paladin. It hurts that they never came to look for him, but Lance understands. Introspection has become a byproduct of existing and he’s been alone with his thoughts for four months.
So yeah, Lance understands.

Keith pushes Red’s throttle to full, and the Lion goes into overburn on her own. He knows it’s foolish to waste so much energy on the search—especially here, especially now—but he’s getting desperate, and so is she. Lance is her paladin, not him. He’s just a stand-in. Really, he always was.
“C’mon, Lance, where are you?” he asks. The emptiness, as always, doesn’t answer.
Keith’s clock, set to earth standard time, chimes midnight. It’s been six months and thirteen days since Lance was taken—but for Keith, it’s been over two years.
He knows the only reason the Paladins haven’t found Lance yet is because they weren’t looking.
