Summary
When the Inquisition left Halamshiral after resolving the Civil War they left a sole empress in charge of Orlais. Through the years since, even post-Exalted Council and rumours of an elven rebellion mounting in Tevinter, Celene has helmed the ship of state alone. It does not mean, however, that she has forgotten the past or her relationship with Briala.
Cyril, of all people, appears to have a plan. Celene is sceptical but she's for everything now.
For her part, Briala has been in exile, working in Tevinter, fulfilling a destiny she did not think would entail this much sacrifice. At a crossroads herself, Briala is to take part in events that will shape the world (again).
Prologue takes place in 9:50 Dragon.
