“You interrupted me during a meal,” Zhongli murmured. “And yet, I have such a delicious one right under my nose.” He inhaled sharply, clearly relishing in the scent of Ajax’s blood. “So sweet,” he crooned. “How nice of you to offer to replace her.”
Ajax felt lips along his throat, and panic ensnared him.
“W-Wait! Wait!” Ajax begged. “Zhongli!”
A gentle nip to his throat; a warning. Ajax felt the sharp fang slide delicately across his neck. Warm breath made chills trickle down his spine. Zhongli was toying with him.
“Consider this your final warning. If you interrupt me during a meal again, you will replace them. Do you understand?”

“So, you gonna tell me what the sleepwalking’s about?”
Zhongli sighs. “It’s not that I do not wish to share the details of my life with a dear friend. But you might wish you hadn’t asked.”
“Try me,” Childe suggests. “Can’t be any weirder than anything else I’ve learned about you.”
Zhongli snorts softly through his nose, taking a sip of tea. “I believe I am undergoing an old ritual, of sorts. Though I am more human now than ever before, I find myself beholden to certain instincts."
“Oh?” Childe shifts upright, interested. “You mean… dragon stuff.”
Zhongli nods, licking his lips and directing his gaze away from Childe. “I believe,” he says again, the faintest tinge of color creeping over his cheeks, “that I am searching for a mate.”
Zhongli has been sleepwalking through the Liyue streets in the dead of night, unresponsive and with eyes aglow. Childe intends to get to the bottom of the situation, but everything changes when Zhongli reveals the likely motive behind his nightly wanderings.
Childe knows he shouldn't fuck Zhongli in his sleep. He really shouldn't. But when has he ever been sensible?

Summary
Harry's second year at Hogwarts is over and he is back at the Dursley's with little food, free time and even less support. He feels cold, tired and hungry all the time, so hungry that it hurts. An accident a week into the vacation changes everything, probably forever. But it isn't easy to go from having no adult who cares at all, to several who do and who would willingly go to war over his safety, and it's even harder to believe that it will last.
Also, who knew Aunt Petunia could be so savage?This is the first work in a series by the name The Vampire of the Family Black. Each work should not be too extensive, but I have never been very good at writing short, so time will tell.
This is also a Work in Progress and something I will write on when the mood strikes.
