Summary
An interpretation of Bill Cypher’s backstory written in the form of a first person narrative/epic poem.
It explores his emotions, his inadequacies, his pain and his personal journey before, during and after the destruction of his home dimension. Then going on to look at how that experience affected him when meeting the henchmainiacs, before finally showing how it affects his relationship with Ford…. Essentially it’s the backstory he refuses to tell us in the Book of Bill functioning as a sort of character study if you will.
He writes this after the events of writing the book of bill. Written in the mist of a psychotic meltdown in the Theraprism, while going more insane than he already is. However that actually doesn’t play into the plot, but that’s where his mind was when writing this, just so there’s a bit of context to the hypothetical origin of this poem. Which is also why it has information that Bill would never tell another living soul as Bill would have only ever intended his own eyes to see this and therefore is more inclined to tell the truth, but obviously Bill is still Bill and can be un incredibly unreliable narrator.
