He forgot about his past life as Izuku and became an integral part of Gotham. Adopted son of Bruce Wayne and becoming the hero Vigilante, Red Robin.

    One day though, Tim is thrown back into a world where heroes are abundant as are the people who hate his mere existence. Tim Drake must now navigate this modern, super powered world while never giving up his dream and life's work of saving those who need it.

    Shouta Aizawa was a lot of things, but underprepared was not one of them.

    Sure, he could be grumpy and cold - usually when bothered unnecessarily by his students or colleagues or when his access to coffee seemed to vanish and he was left to cope without caffeine fueling his every function.

    Sure, he could be a little soft, but only when knelt down in alleyways, opening small cans of cat food for the local stray population to have something safe to eat, or for his husband in the cozy, intimate confines of their home when he could bask in the knowledge of just being there and existing with his Sunshine.

    And sure, he could be a little pessimistic - or as he so adamantly referred to it: ‘Realistic’. It was his natural state of being to not hope for nor expect the best outcome, as nothing ever seemed to go right for him.

    But the one thing Shouta Aizawa never was, was unprepared.

    Shouta Aizawa gets turned into a cat by a stray quirk and has to figure out how to get back home while trying to protect the bullied quirkless kid he's totally not adopting.

    Tsukauchi Naomasa never expected a phone call from a twelve-year-old child who’d been kidnapped by villains. Who was still in the hands of villains. But he’d be damned if he let this kid die.

    A fic about Izuku being kidnapped by the LoV, but staying on the phone with Tsukauchi, Eraserhead, and Present Mic the whole time.

    "You either die a hero, or live long enough to become a villain."

    For as long as Jack had lived, he's seen the worst and best of humanity. The wonder, belief, and fun side; and then the toxic, selfish, and unpleasant side.

    He's seen people he knew die, he's watched many spirits cease to exist, and he experienced slowly as humanity adjusted to it's worst when meta abilities –now called 'quirks'– started popping up from around the globe.

     

    He gave up on being the 'Guardian of Fun' after that, not after 'fun' was redefined to a twisted version of itself.

     

    Although…it isn't all that bad.
