Summary
Soap was huffing little sounds against his shoulder, his stubbled cheek mushed into Ghost’s pale skin, giving his handsome face a funny look. It was one of the most beautiful things Ghost has ever seen.
The light in the room that woke Ghost up (he forgot to close the blinds in his turmoil yesterday) was making Soap’s bronzed skin look even softer.
Safe to say Ghost was not feeling anymore sure of himself than he was yesterday night. Probably even less without the numbness of the bourbon. So he just kept on blinking owlishly at the man laying next to him on the bed that was decidedly too small for the both of them.
“Ah can feel ye thinking.”, Soap’s lips brushed against his skin when he talked, “Stop tha’.”, his voice was even gruffer now than usual, probably from just having woken up. It sent shivers down Ghost’s spine.
“You can’t order me around”, he actually could. Ghost would do a lot of things for this man. Everything.

The little ring of gold marking him as an Omega has brightened, John thinks, grown thicker in molasses-thick arousal, glowing for the compliments. He thinks about Simon’s Alpha at home, what he must be like to not have Simon like this all the time, and growls to himself.
He leans in, lets their knees knock together. “Only way ta be,” he says. “Life’s too short to go around lettin’ works of art pass me by.”

Summary
There’s a teddy in Soap’s bed; a beaten-up, old brown bear. Well-loved, if the state of the fur is any indication. Ghost lets out a choked laugh, mostly at his own expense. He wishes he was there, suddenly, wishes he was by Johnny’s side as he walked through the doorway and realised that his childhood room was waiting for him like a time capsule. Wishes he got to see the embarrassed scrunch of his face, the way the tips of his ears would flush red.
Soap has a whole second life, outside of the SAS. He’s got a mother, and a poorly-decorated bedroom, and a bear. All Ghost has is a flat that will be the same it is today as it will be the day he dies, like he was never even here at all.

simon grimaces, wobbles closer, bending to take a knee and crawl his way towards soap, “no.” his horns nudge soap’s jaw as he tucks himself into his shoulder, and his entire body shudders with his groan when soap wraps an arm around his torso and nudges him closer.
“should’ve told me sooner, sweetheart, y’know i’m happy to help.” he presses a kiss between the horns, then to the base of one; to his eyebrow, the bridge of his nose, the smattering of freckles across his cheek, the corner of his frowning mouth.
“i know,” he whispers, “just… i need it now.” he emphasizes his words with a whine, twisting to capture soap's mouth with his own before soap pulls him away by the horns.
