Summary
Red Hood is shot. Batman takes him back to the cave to be patched up by Alfred. Red Hood is put on some extreme pain meds that make him say whatever he's thinking (aka prefrontal cortex is disabled) and he starts venting to batman.
Heavily inspired by the song "class of 2013" by Mitski.
This isn't gonna be a really happy fic (Unlike many of my others), this is gonna cover the flip side of Red Hood.- Language:

Bruce took extra care to ensure that every last thread on the first Robin suit was sewn with careful precision. He didn't trust anyone else when it came to the crafting of this suit, not when it was his son's safety on the line.
He only hopes that he can do Dick's family justice. These were their colours, after all.

Summary
“What’s wrong?” Dick asked. Bruce relaxed immediately - too immediately.
“Nothing, chum. Have some bacon.”
“Did something happen?” Dick took the bacon anyway, in preparation for a quick departure. “Do we have to suit up?”
“What?” Bruce blinked. “No. Nothing’s wrong, Dick. Eat your food. I’m going into work later for a meeting.”
“‘Kay,” Dick answered through a mouthful of bacon. “Is this about the fact that I called you Dad? I’m sorry, it just sort of slipped out. I won’t do it again.”
Bruce froze completely before setting his newspaper down.
OR
Dick calls Bruce 'Dad' and it unlocks a host of feelings for both of them. Since Bruce is terrible at communicating and Dick has many issues, it takes them a second to work it out.

“We’re just having a conversation,” Hal said, like Clark was crazy for even bringing it up.
“In the showers?"
“Yeah?” Hal asked, scrubbing at his back with one hand. Frowning, he twisted around in the spray so he was facing away from Bruce. “Hey, is it on my neck? I swear I can still feel it there.”
Bruce leaned over, scanning Hal’s back. “No. You’re clear.”
(or, the time Hal followed Bruce into the Watchtower showers to continue an argument and nobody but Clark thought that was weird)
