Summary
For Michael, his life ended many years ago. No lost dawn could compare to the emptiness and loneliness that haunted him for the rest of his days after the love of his life was taken from him.
Secluded for years in a crumbling house, he learned to do what he called surviving. But if he had to spend the rest of eternity until a hunter found him, at least he wouldn't regret anything.

This time Brendon really can't keep himself from chuckling almost hysterically. He gets up from his chair, circling the table with a predatory-like walk, a shark getting closer to his prey, until he's properly face to face with this mysterious doctor Whitaker. Still, Whitaker doesn’t move if not to tilt his head up, maintaining eye contact as if Brendon wasn’t currently trying to kill him with a glare.“Is that so? Why, you think people don't already know about my attitude? They don't care about it, not when I'm the best ortho surgeon they could ever have in this hospital.”
“Believe me, they will care if the complaint is coming from me, doctor Park.”

Dennis threatens to get HR involved. Brendon gets pleasantly surprised that someone has the balls to talk to him like that and discovers that, deep down, he kinda likes it when someone doesn't actually lower their gaze.
