- Zuko woke along with dawn the day after the world had ended. -
Proceeding the events of canon, Zuko acts as Fire Lord, balancing peace meetings, his friends leaving to rebuild the world elsewhere, his own rebuilding of his relationship with his sister, and a frankly ridiculous number of assassination attempts. He’s not alone, but he’s also not fully healed from his childhood and the war, and hardly ready to run a nation.
Everyone keeps telling him that he has to take a break to figure out who he is, so that’s what he does.Follows post-canon Zuko healing from the events of canon by taking a life-changing field trip with himself. Features various fire nation citizens, all of the Gaang, worldbuilding, a baby dragon, teenagers being teenagers, the start of a romance, MANY headcanons, and more.
