Summary
Shauna and Jackie have a fight over all of it - the lies, the betrayal, the drug-fueled romp through the woods, except there's a wrinkle in the celluloid here, and it's Shauna who fucks off into the great outdoors to sleep in the dirt.

Summary
Before Shauna could process it, Jackie was moving, swinging a leg over Shauna’s hips and settling there like it was the most natural thing in the world.
Any of the hookups Shauna had with Jeff before didn't even compare to this and the only thing Jackie had done is straddle her lap. The real thing was so much better.
The thought of Jeff should have stopped everything.

Summary
Jackie looks at the water again and then dips both of her hands below the surface, gathering a handful.
“Jackie, do not—”
It’s too late. She’s drinking the water, throat bobbing as she swallows the small amount her palms had allowed her. She wipes her mouth with the back of her hand, and a small, satisfied noise leaves her as if it soothed her, like a newborn feeding from its mother.
“Tastes kinda sweet. Weird.”
