Summary
Enrolling at an elite, private boarding school for her senior year felt like Bulma's only option. This was her chance at finding a real academic challenge, at pushing her knowledge beyond anything she'd experienced before. It was going to be perfect.
However, Bulma realizes that there is something much more challenging in her path than academics.
She meets a frustrating boy in her English class who is the most complicated puzzle she's ever had to solve.
Vegeta is a legacy student. His heritage was known by every teacher, and there is a building on the campus dedicated to his father. He is intelligent, but even more gifted in athletics. And he is frustratingly smug about it.
Despite a promise Bulma made to herself that she was going to keep her head down, something keeps drawing her back to Vegeta.

Summary
The atrium had been her father’s favorite place on Earth, buzzing with animals and plantlife. Now it was barren, the domed ceiling cracked, all of the animals set free to roam in the city once food had become scarce. Almost all of the plants, except a few stubborn weeds, had withered and died, but Vegeta had been hard at work today, clearing out the remnants of dead flora and trying to make it presentable.
It was far from how she had imagined her wedding day.
But she refused to let it ruin the special occasion.
Today is a happy day.
In a future where Goku succumbed to the heart virus, Bulma and Vegeta are at an impasse. Victory, much less survival, against the androids isn’t certain, but one thing is tried and true: love. On borrowed time, Bulma and Vegeta mate, marry, and, most importantly, hope — hope for a better tomorrow where life as they know it isn’t so blue.

Whether he was aware of it or not, Vegeta started treating arguing like foreplay, and she was always too quick to indulge him. On several occasions, they wound up in each other’s faces, mere centimeters apart, daring the other to move closer. His eyes would burn, almost playfully, lacking the usual malice he gave everyone else. She knew what he looked like when he was genuinely angry, and those moments dropped in frequency over the past few months. At least with her.
She knew what changed their dynamic, too.
