“All of it, everything,” Ivan agrees, meaningfully. Lovro rolls his eyes to cover the flush.
“Come on, then, we’re on the fifth floor.” Lovro extricates himself from the quicksand confines of the pillowy armchair. His heart is beating quicker than he can believe. “Let’s go.”

Lukey is an amnesiac human alone in a world full of monsters and violence. He's a pacifist, he's a scientist, he is not an alcoholic. He has a stab wound in his stomach and a mysterious hooded figure standing behind him every time he looks in a mirror.
But none of that is important, because there's a bowling competition coming up, and he has to get his teammate, Pangi, back in proper shape so the Honey Badgers can beat the Kingdom and finally take home the trophy.
(And maybe, if he's lucky, he'll finally be able to work up the nerve to ask Pangi out for drinks afterwards.)

It's the kind of throwaway comment that gets forgotten in the moment. Lukey just laughs and goes back to his phone, and Pangi thinks nothing more of it.

The plan, or at least what started as the plan, was to clear up more of the underground mineshaft near the lab.
"Maybe I should put you on a leash. Stop you from getting lost." Pangi teases, getting as an answer a simple eyebrow raise and unsurprised expression from Lukey, now walking towards the correct direction.
"I'm not the dog on a leash here and we both know it." Lukey retorts as he climbs the rocks leading to Pangi.
"You're looking too much like a lost puppy to act like the one in charge right now, not gonna lie." And it's starting to sound nebulous whether they are still talking about the job of clearing the mines.
