Summary
After the stabbing that nearly ends his career, Shane Bradley is left with a damaged leg, a frustrated father, and a mounting fear that he has no future left in the job he loves. Annie Conlon refuses to let him face any of it alone.
She visits him in hospital with terrible tea and better jokes, shows up to physio to “watch him fall on his arse,” and drags him out for walks and pints when the flat gets too quiet. He cooks for her after long shifts, learning how to stand without the crutch while she learns how to breathe through her grief.
The more time they spend together, the more the lines blur. A shoulder nap on the sofa becomes the moment Shane realises he wants more nights like this. Annie doesn’t run. She just smiles and comes back the next day.
Slowly, carefully, they become each other’s safe place. No grand speeches. No rushing. Just two Belfast cops holding each other steady while the world keeps spinning.
A friends-to-lovers story about healing, burnt chips, bad tea, and the slow courage of letting someone in.

Summary
There were forces out there that wanted to pull them apart. Outside the small room, she could hear the pounding of the rain against the roof and window panes. Wind rushed under the eves. In the distance, the sound of thunder echoed. The noise muted the sounds of the outside world and seemed to wrap them up in a cocoon of solitude. Right here, right now; it was only them, and that’s all she wanted to think about.
She wanted him to kiss her some more...

Summary
“I grew up in the foster care system. I never knew my mother—never had a real family, a place to call home. I belonged to nothing and nothing belonged to me."
A child raised in darkness learns to fear the light.
Until she was seventeen, Lillian lived in fear of the faceless figure that cast such an oppressive shadow over her life. Even as an adult, she’s unsettled by the sight of an open doorway to a dark room—forever wary of what might be lurking on the threshold.
When the nightmares she’s been plagued by for years disappear with the birth of her daughter, Lilly fears she passed them on to her. Until, after the death of her best friend, the visions begin to reappear. Suddenly, she’s thrust into the darkness once again; only now she isn’t the only one there. For the first time in her life, Lilly must reckon with what family really means to her, and whether holding on too tightly is any better than letting go.

Summary
Okay... So, this one came about for a few reasons. One. OJC's range, man. Dude has played sensitive/broken, toxic, and goofball believably and I just love it. More tall hairy, angular men, with that good-good jawline, and evil-ass stare abilities, please. And because I haven't written fic in a good while and I'm disturbed by the purity trend going on in fandom.
So, this is to let folks know it's okay to write and fantasize about "toxic" pairings. They are/can be hot in a fictional space, yall. The whole point of writing a fantasy is going there, to places the rational real you wouldn't and it's actually healthy to do in a safe context....
So... I'm giving you the details of that first fade-to-black. Because we all know that shit was hot and nasty (as is implied in the original story).
There is a passing referral to Peter's past abuse, but nothing too heavy, just enough to give some character depth.
This is your warning!
