Summary
A throw pillow lay at the other end of the couch. He imagined taking it in both hands and placing it over Hannibal’s face. He could use the weight of his whole body if he needed to, could feel Hannibal’s struggle weaken as the oxygen already in his blood was spent. It would be intimate. Quiet. The murder weapon smelled faintly of their house. Will couldn’t do it.

Summary
Hannibal and Will have been healing from the fall under the Cuban sun, but still haven't faced their feeling for each other. The temperature is rising, outside and between them. Hannibal feels like he is going crazy trying to give Will space, while Will has been grilling for hours half naked in the sun.

That's what Will had said. He'd meant it, at the time. Now, two years into the life he cobbled together from the broken pieces Hannibal left him in - house, dogs, wife, family - he finds himself haunted by the ghost of a man who looks too much like the reason he still can't sleep through the night. Duncan's friendly, Molly says. Quiet, a little strange, but harmless.
Will isn't so sure about that. She doesn't see the resemblance, but she didn't know Hannibal. Will does a decent job keeping his distance until one day, Duncan Vizla comes home with a dog.
