“Kid,” Jason interrupted. “Enough statistics. What the hell is this about?”
Robin slowly lowered the tablet with his powerpoint presentation and looked up at Red Hood.
“You care about Gotham,” Robin summarised. “Gotham needs Batman. Batman is missing and so is Nightwing. We need you to fill in for Batman.”
“You want me to cover Batman’s patrols?” Jason clarified.
“No,” Robin said. “I want you to be Batman.”
Jason bluescreened.
(Or: Batman and Nightwing mysteriously disappear before Red Hood has even started antagonising them, Robin is desperate, Gotham needs Batman, and Red Hood is Batman-Shaped.)

Aizawa refuses to let his Problem Child travel back in time alone, even to fix a future where All for One was the victor. They go back with a plan that's more of a list, spend a year technically missing, and become rather effective vigilantes that fix some rather serious problems. And then it's time to be found, which seems to primarily result in lots of support and many hugs. Neither Izuku or Aizawa complain very much.

Written for a prompt in the "Gen and Aro Prompts (Any Fandom)" challenge collection. The prompt was called "Kindness Makes the World Go Round" by Udaberri. It read as follows:
"Soulmates do not have to be lovers, even though some may be lovers. Soulmates can be friends or family. They can even be complete strangers.
A soulmate is simply the person who will be in the best position to help when you need it most.

So immediately, I thought of orphan Midoriya Izuku panicking over the idea of soulmates and wondering if it was possible that his soulmate marks would lead him to having new dads. Feat: abusive orphanage staff (but only like one scene with a little bit of actual violence concerning it), UA showing Izuku he can have friends, and Izuku refusing to allow himself to be happy until it literally punches him in the face.Series

And everything was going well, until an unfortunate villian destroyed the building, and the heroes found and refused to let these children return to streets...
Or: Midoriya Izuku adopts teens, children, and an adult (debatable) ; hides from a yakuza, a corrupt hero, an aged but extremely dangerous supervillain, and a flawed system while wondering why heroes cant mind their damn business.

“You are a strange one…” Hitoshi replied eventually, his laughter slowly receding as he leaned back against the couch.
“Midoriya. Midoriya Izuku.”
Hitoshi lifted his head to gaze at the boy curiously, who flushed a darker shade of pink. “My name. You asked what it was earlier, right? It’s Midoriya Izuku.”
He had asked that, hadn’t he? “Well, Midoriya Izuku, it’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I’m Shinsou Hitoshi.” He held out his hand jokingly, but was surprised when Midoriya slid his palm against his, touching him without a moment's hesitation and smiling so broadly Hitoshi could believe this boy was the sun incarnate. “It’s nice to meet you!”
