As Phil looks back, he sees Technoblade resurfacing again, but this time the mer isn't looking at him, but rather somewhere to his left. Techno reaches out and pulls something out of the water. Then Phil is face to face with a mer, but a small and grumpy one.
This must be what the merfolk calls a pup, a child of their species. Said pup is currently pouting at him, while being held under his arms by Techno.
"Phil, meet Theseus, my son," the older mer announces proudly, which leaves Phil's brain lagging to catch up with the information. The man thought that if his friend had a child, it would have somehow came up in their conversations. After all, when kids take up the majority of your time, it's hard not to mention them to others.

Belief is a powerful thing. Hermitcraft is built mostly on this magic; it's belief that allows the hermits to fit an inventory's worth of shulker boxes, each with an inventory's worth of items inside, within the pocketspace each player has.
It's belief that lets floating islands stay floating, that allows Hermitcraft to grow into the magnificent builds each season because they believe they can, and it's belief gives them the confidence that if they are ever in danger, the entire server will come to aid.
But, as some of the server's members might know, it's belief that can grow into manifestation.
If you believe in something enough, if enough people truly believe, that belief might just come true.
