Summary
Returning to Paradis, Levi stumbles upon a cabin outside the walls that Petra had once told him about. She'd said it was from a weird fever dream she had while she was lost in a scouting mission through Wall Maria. That her Captain was there, aged, scarred and sad, and that they'd have tea together and try to make each other smile.
Levi finds the cabin is real, and that it acts as a liminal space between past and future/present. He doesn't know how it works, but he's grateful just to see Petra, alive and just as vibrant as ever after all these years.
Soon, Petra is spending her time living extra dangerously, splitting her time between her duties and life, and this bubble of domestic happiness outside the secure walls. Between two captains.
