There he came across the Beast Clergyman, Gurranq. After taking the mantle of gathering Deathroots for Gurranq the Tarnished finds himself enjoying their visits. Eventually learning to confide in Gurranq, and over time their friendship blossoms.

    To what degree?

    They shall find out as the Tarnished who has little faith in himself tries to appease a beast torn apart by his own mind, and struggling to piece himself back together.
