Breaking into a shout of laughter, Rumi rests her glass in her lap as she claps a hand across her mouth, eyes shining with delight. “Oh my… Zoey. Okay, go, before I keep you. Are you okay to see yourself out? If you hold the door until it chimes, it’s self locking. I’m just a little…” gesturing at herself, Rumi breaks into a wry grin. “...well. Lets just say you made good on that promise to fuck me until I couldn’t walk. Thanks.”

Summary
Mira had hoped her status as a rare female alpha would let her escape her family’s plans, but her arranged engagement to a vapid omega – no matter if she was noble – tossed her hopes out the window. Zoey always finds a way to do this. Any time Rumi tells the other two that she’s going to be locking herself away for her rut, she inevitably finds one of Zoey’s shirts hidden away in her room. Tucked underneath covers or folded neatly on her dresser. Once hung up on the back of the bathroom door. Always with Zoey’s scent all over it, more than just the remnants left over after laundering.
It kills Rumi. It saves her.

“Sure.” Adam rolls his eyes, then calls behind him, “Lute, stop playing with your food.”
Before Charlie can react, Lute stabs her blade through Vaggie’s chest, gold blood spilling around angelic steel. Vaggie tries pushing herself up, but Lute pushes her back to the ground with her foot as Vaggie coughs up more gold blood.
“No!” The scream stops the battle in its tracks.

And then, everything is black.The blackness doesn’t last long, though. In moments, Vaggie blips back into sunlight and warmth.
She’s in Heaven with Sera, Emily, and surprisingly, Sir Pentious, and Emily is smiling from ear to ear.

Charlie's experience when it comes to dating in general is fairly limited, having had a singlular boyfriend for a year back in the 1800s and a string of failed flirtationships in the years since.
Charlie's experience in the bedroom on the other hand is somehow even more lacking. She's learned quickly that people react conceptually to the idea of sleeping with the Princess of Hell far better than they do the actual experience. She gets it, Charlie's an extremely powerful demon and experiencing even a fraction of her untapped power would leave most souls paralyzed in fear... and Charlie isn't the best at controlling said powers.
Which is why Charlie is willing to do just about anything in the world to make sure Vaggie never sees her like that; aroused and completely out of control.
