  Summary

  Travis and Sal meet unexpectedly in their humanities course, religious studies. They can grow closer this way perhaps?
  However, the deeper he discusses with Sal— the only time they interact, really— the more he starts to question his faith... and his feelings... they end up all over. He isn't sure what's even right at this point.

  His father, however, is a constant remeinder of what he apparently must believe.

  Summary

  Sal's death is too much to bear. Travis copes in the best way he knows, how he used to in the past, and writes letters to his late-lover.

  Except this time no one is answering to them. Perhaps he will see his beloved in some sort of afterlife. Perhaps in Hell; they were never the best men either way.
