Silence fell over the broadcast. A silence so complete and so absolute and so carefully held that Amy heard her own ragged and involuntary inhale far too loudly in the pressed and waiting quiet of the room. Then another snippet of audio began to play. It was clouded only minimally with the barest trace of static and what Amy could only presume was the immeasurable acoustic distance of millions upon millions of miles of stardust and open night sky compressing itself into sound between two worlds that had never before spoken to each other.
"We greet you, people of Mobius. We hear you. We will soon see you."

"I am Sir Lancelot Du Lac, a knight of Camelot." Lancelot calls into the emptiness. "I wish to speak with the king of dragons, if he is willing." Lancelot's voice echoes through the chamber, like a whispered wind inside of a long abandoned castle.
"King Arthur?" Lancelot attempts again, his voice far smaller than before.
"I heard your first request, Sir Lancelot." A voice booms throughout the cavern. Lancelot stills and a tremor moves through his body. "I am considering whether it is worth my time to assess if you are being truthful or merely attempting to steal something precious from me."

A tyrant king rules with an iron and bloody fist, striking down any who oppose his cruelty. Sir Lancelot has never been one to stand down when faced with corruption and he will stand for it no longer. His mother, Lady Nimue, would tell stories of the king of dragons, King Arthur, and how his past was spent protecting the kingdom of Camelot before his disappearance.
Perhaps a desperate knight with a deal can pull him back into a world that needs him.
