He’s not. “As ready as I’ll ever be.”
“Item one, non-negotiable.” And Matt downs as much of his drink as he can in one swallow. “No killing.”
“What?” Matt blinks, “Fog, you know I won’t—”
“Good, that’s easy,” Foggy’s heart has sped a little, “I’m counting voluntary manslaughter, so maybe no more brain swelling comas either.”--
With the Devil out of the bag, there's nothing left to keep Matt and Foggy apart; except for Foggy's bruised trust. He comes over to talk terms, rules, and everything that brought them here.

Summary
Matt has always been everything Foggy is not. At least, that’s what Foggy would say if you asked him. He’s fit and charismatic and somehow rebellious in an endearing way that Foggy was never able to pull off.
Somehow though, somehow, he was Foggy’s roommate. And his friend. And he didn’t act like he was leaving anytime soon. And what if Foggy wanted a bit more? Nobody had to know, least of all Matt. Despite that, Foggy can’t shake the feeling that all of his cards are already on the table. He’s always been an open book.
