    Shen Yuan forgot how to breathe.

    Not Shen Quingqiu.

    Not the original. Not the nightmare. Not the scummy mess of a man destined to become a human stick.

    Shen Yuan stared at him with round, horrified eyes.

    Shen Qingqiu stared back with a face unreadable.

    “…You’re awake”, Shen Qingqiu said, voice cool as water.

    Shen Yuan squeaked.

    He didn’t mean to. It just came out. He slapped his tiny hands over his tiny face, mortification and terror exploding inside him. Oh no. Oh no no no. This was bad. This was critical hit-level bad.

    He’d transmigrated. Into PIDW. Into Qing Jing Peak. Into Shen Qingqiu’s personal quarters? In a child’s body?

    There was only one explanation.

    Slowly, with dawning dread, he lowered his hands.

    “… Am I your son?” he whispered.

    Summary

    What happens when Bakugou continues to get disregarded and even shamed for how he is? What happens when the baku-squad all come forward with bullshit and trauma they've had to deal with in life, all the incidents that led them to see the gross vileness in the world? They decide to branch off from UA and hero society to enact their own justice.

    ~~~~~
    When Bakugou got kidnapped their first year, it was absolute Hell, and yet, possibly one of the best things that had ever happened to him. Sure, dealing with that stank breath Dabi was not a walk in the park, nor did he appreciate the knife play that the twin bun bitch wanted to do with him.
    But they actually took the muzzle off of him when he wanted them to, despite knowing how foul-mouthed he was. Not like at the sports festival where he was chained and made to shut his mouth like a rabid animal. And during the time he was gone, tucked away in some damp and musty basement, he had a lot of time to think.
    Why the fuck the villain group that took him from ‘safety’ treating him better than the heroes that were supposed to help him for a better future? Two plus two ain’t equaling four.
    “Seriously? That's your plan? To give me a piggyback ride up the fire escape?”
    Kaminari just gives an eager nod. “Hop on.”
    Hitoshi stares at him for a few seconds. He's a Senior Agent. He has elite tactical training. And yet, here he is, clinging to a blonde idiot like a koala.
    -OR-
    Hitoshi Shinso is a ghost. A specialist in stealth and long-range intel, he’s spent his career proving that a solo agent is a safe agent. He doesn't need a partner, and he certainly doesn't need a distraction.
    Then comes Denki Kaminari.
    Flirty, loud, and seemingly reckless, Kaminari is the polar opposite of everything Hitoshi stands for. But as they dive into the dark underbelly of Tokyo to track a ruthless trafficker, the "annoying" partnership turns into something Hitoshi never prepared for...
