Summary
Shadow Milk Cookie returns to the Vanilla Kingdom seeking redemption, unsure of his place but unwilling to leave. Over time, he and Pure Vanilla Cookie fall into a quiet, unspoken routine, their interactions softening into something that feels almost domestic, almost like a relationship neither of them names. While Shadow Milk slowly changes for the better, Pure Vanilla continues to carry everything alone, hiding the early signs of his worsening condition behind calm reassurances.
As Pure Vanilla’s illness progresses, Shadow Milk begins to notice the cracks, eventually realizing the truth: Hanahaki disease, caused by unspoken love. Before anything can be done, it is already too late. In the garden they shared, Pure Vanilla finally confesses his feelings in his final moments, only for his body to bloom violently into flowers, leaving Shadow Milk alone with the weight of a love he was never given the chance to return.

Summary
Pure Vanilla visits White Lily to talk about his growing feelings for Shadow Milk. She doesn't understand but if he was willing to stand up to all of them and give the Beast a chance to change then she supposes she has no other choice but to support him. Unfortunately for them, her faerie subjects get the wrong idea of why the two Ancients are meeting more frequently and decide to take matters into their own hands.
A potion to bring forth hidden affections given to the one cookie that has some form of love for every single person he's ever known means now White Lily has to try and keep an increasingly cuddly Pure Vanilla from embarrassing himself in front of everyone he crosses paths with. And when Shadow Milk shows up, she needs to keep him from making a mistake that may just drive the jester away for good.
Pure Vanilla is lucky she's always been good at figuring out spell craft... and with an extremely reluctant Shadow Milk's help, maybe they can break this lovestruck haze that her friend is trapped in.
