Summary
On warm days in the biodome, Simon Grace and Rocky would go walk along the beach. Well, in all actuality, Simon would walk along the beach picking up the things he found in the sand. Rocky and Grace were the ones who would play and roughhouse in the water.
Simon liked the ocean. The sounds, smells, and textures were nice and stimulating in the right ways. He liked running with grace on the beach. He thought the shells and sea glass were pretty, and he collected the pieces he liked the best.
Sometimes Simon wanted to get in the ocean and splash around with Grace and the rock, but he couldn’t. He just couldn't. The best he could do was stand in the water up to his calves, going adobe that, and that made panic well up in his stomach and chest. Hands got clammy and lungs tight. He hated it. He shouldn't be scared of the water; he could drink it just fine. He shouldn't be so childish.

Summary
Arthur wakes up at the bottom of the lake in the modern day. Everything and everyone he knew is gone: his family, friends, his kingdom, everything. After stumbling in a nearby town, Arthur breaks down and is found by Merlin, who, having lost his purpose and destiny millennia ago, let his physical form age. Merlin, now a wizened man, takes Arthur back to his cabin, where he reverts himself and reveals himself to Arthur in a beautiful reunion.

Summary
Arthur Pendragon was ten years old when he first realized that he had never received a hug. He was fifteen years old when he noticed that even though he was training with the knights almost every day, he wasn’t one of the knights. He was twenty years old when his father decided that a scrawny boy with two left feet was to work as his personal servant. And although Merlin continued to cross every imaginable line between servant and prince, he never touched him.
Arthur Pendragon was twenty-five years old when he first got drunk enough to complain about it all.
