Harry sometimes thought about what life would be like without Jaz. If the worst happened and he lost her, or worse, he never had a sister to begin with. What would Harry be like?
In another world, if he didn't have his sister, maybe Harry would be timid, broken down, after a lifetime with the Dursleys. He never did get all that mad when he was threatened after all. He might’ve just gotten quieter and quieter, thinking he deserved everything that happened to him, or at least, it wasn’t bad enough to be saved from. But his sister? Jaz didn’t deserve any of this.
The first time Vernon had backhanded Harry for burning the bacon, (he’d then thrown them in their cupboard and locked them in for days without food) they decided together it would be them against the world. Harry would protect her from ANYTHING that tried to hurt her, and he knew Jaz would do the same for him, God help anyone who tried to hurt them again. They got even where they could, and if they couldn’t, they promised themselves they would eventually, no matter how long it took. The Potter Twins ALWAYS got their revenge.
