Performance Issues, HotGuy?
By GrianIn recent weeks, HotGuy has been leaving much to be desired on the battlefield. It seems after many long, hard fights, he just can’t keep it up. He used to be quite anal about his victories, but now he’s had a few close calls. Could it be that his arrows just aren’t what they used to be? Is he firing blanks? I wouldn’t be surprised if his enemies are having to fake their defeat. Of course, HotGuy is far from the only man who struggles to hit the target, so maybe I shouldn’t be so harsh.
Three of HotGuy’s record fights for injuries and collateral damage have all occurred this month, an alarming statistic in the face of the continued attacks. The root of the issue may be difficult to swallow…Series

Summary
Grian kills Bdubs, and then comes after Scar with the fury of a man scorned. As he should. As is his right.
Scar does not begrudge him this. Scar kneels, waist deep in murky water, and bares his throat, and says, Kill me. And then he says, hot and desperate, We’ve won, Grian, we’ve won. Can’t we both win?
Grian, his head full of whispers, bares his teeth beneath the rising full moon, and says, No. He says, The ghosts demand a fight.
And Scar, on his knees, smiling, says, Who cares what they have to say? It’s just us here now.
And Grian – a fool, always a fool – listens to him.
(In which Scar and Grian decide to win 3rd Life together. This changes everything, and nothing at all.)

Summary
Bdubs is suddenly next to them, but he doesn’t look as happy as he did a moment ago. “Uh oh, someone’s getting in trouble for this.”
He looks to where Bdubs’ line of sight goes, and he sees the same guy from earlier being held up by his teammate.
Scar's first thought is, Oh god, he’s beautiful.

After winning the Formula 2 championship, Scar lands a seat in F1. He ends up with a lot more than he bargained for when he forms a friendship with the mysterious driver from Sahara.

Summary
Hermit’s Hollow was a quiet town where you learned to ignore whisperings of nonsense and the dull, persistent feeling of being watched before you learned to ride a bike. To call it pedestrian would be a great disservice to all the terrible oddities occupying it— folks and legends alike.
Not that Grian believed any of them, of course.
Or; There's something wrong in Hermit's Hollow. There's something wrong with Grian. Neither of these are a surprise to him.
